Post production works were complete for Homam direted by JD Chakravarthy and produced by Kirankumar Koneru on the banner of Shreya Productions, with Jagapatibabu and Mamata Mohandas in the lead and JD Chakravarthy playing a key role. Another speciality of the film is that JD Chakravarty, besides directing and acting in the film, also scored tunes for the flick for the first time.



Speaking on the occasion, JD Chakravarthy says, ' Homam is basically an emotional film. Jagapatibabu is playing the role of a police officer, who is under cover, I am playing the role of another police officer with negative shades. You can find Ram Gopal Varma kind of taking in this movie. We are confident that the film would attract all classes of audiences.

Senior artiste Sakshi Sivanand shook her legs in an item song.' Producer says, 'We are planning to release the film by the end of August. We are sure that the film would earn a good name to Chakravarthy as a director.



After this film, we are planning a sequel to this movie as 'Marana Homam' again with JD Chakravarthy as director.' Mahesh Manjrekar, Pradeep Rawat, Jeeva, Shankar and others are in the cast.
