Recording of songs was complete for 'Dabbu… Dabbu' with Sangeetha in the lead role. The dubbing and final mixing activities were already completed and the first copy would be ready by the end of May first week. Gabbita Madhumohan, the producer of the Telugu version says, 'We are dubbing a successful Tamil film 'Kaasu'. Raghu played the hero.

All the songs were quite melodious and became very popular in Tamil. Even in Telugu we have recorded them with the same quality. Khushi Murali, Sriram, Mahesh Sugandhi, Padmalata rendered the songs.

Lyricist Ponduri scripted all the six songs well. The film had several elements like love, sentiment, comedy and action besides it would highlight how far money is playing a crucial role in this society. Rajasri, SS Chandran, Charlie, Purna Viswanath and others are in the cast. Music is by Uday-Nagesh, camera is by Hari Anumolu, editing is by K Madhu , dialogues are by Gabbita Madhumohan and MS Murthy, direction is by Gaery Manohar.
