National award winner and 'Grahanam' director Indraganti Mohana Krishna is planning a film called 'Ashta Chemma'. It is reliably learnt that Swati, the popular anchor of 'Colours' programme was selected as the lead artiste in the movie. Swathi had made her debut into films with 'Danger' directed by Krishnavamsi. She played the heroine Trisha's sister in 'Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhale Verule' who used to tease Venkatesh and gave an excellent performance.
Now she got a chance to play in 'Ashta Chemma'. According to sources, a debutant might play the hero in the movie and Rammohan Rao, who worked with Suresh Productions earlier is producing the movie. Kalyani Malik is scoring music and the story runs in a romantic comedy backdrop. It is worth mentioning here that Indraganti, after 'Grahanam', Indraganti brought out a socio-fantasy movie called ' Maya Bazaar' with Raja and Bhoomika in the lead.
