Dr. L Srinath, who had earlier directed a film called 'Kubusam' is now directing 'Amma Kosam' being produced by Gita on the banner of Samyak Films. Director Srinath says, The film is a story about a 12 year boy who struggles to bring back the sight of his mother.

How the child achieves this is the story of th film.The FDC has accepted the film as a good children's film. The songs are being recorded Anna Audio Labs. We would launch the film shooting on February 20 and the shooting would take place in Medak, Adilabad and Karimnagar districts.

Master Vikram Pinty is playing the lead role, while Ali, Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani , Gautham Raju, Duvvasi Mohan, Ambala Gajanand and others are in the lead cast. P Chandrasekhar Azad has provided the story.

Cinematography is by Sekhar Chennai, music by Vandemataram Srinivas, lyrics by Gorati Venkanna and the screenplay, dialogues, direction are by Dr L Srinath.
