Singer Vandana Vadhera decides on a sartorial change.
We recently caught up with this lady in red, Vandana Vadhera. She cut a pretty picture in a bright red saree, and looked quite different from her usual self. She usually dresses up in wacky western outfits and remembers to colour coordinate her outfit with accessories.
At this event she blushed a bright pink when someone complimented her on the way she had done up her hair.
Glad to receive the compliment, she said, "I don’t wear a saree too often. But when I do, I make sure that I do it perfectly well. For example, I take utmost care to ensure that my hairdo complements my Indian attire. I devote quality time in tying my hair in a unique way, as I want it to look different from the days when I wear western outfits."
Well, it might not have complemented her saree, but it sure drew a few appreciative glances towards her. Don’t miss her red bag in the background, she didn’t forget to accessorise her saree look right too. Now, that’s what we call a devoted fashion aficionado!
