Kaajjal's production house took the adage 'Where there is a will, there is a way' to new heights! Ask the show's lead actress Surveen Chawla who would agree after she was recently asked to shoot for Kaajjal even when she had high fever. Not just that. The production house sent crew members to Surveen's house to complete the shooting as the show must go on.
When she somehow managed to come to the sets, she could hardly shoot. She pleaded to the production house that she be taken to the hospital. And guess what they did? They called the doctor to the sets as they wanted her around to shoot important scenes.
Aman Khanna, executive producer of the show confirmed the news. He said, "Surveen could not come for the shoot as she was ill for three days. She was in a very bad condition. So, we sent our team to her residence to shoot the close-ups. This was very important as we are left with no episode bank."
According to Aman, the doctor was called to sets as they could not afford to let Surveen be admitted to the hospital. Surveen is on medication since Friday. Aman said, "She was put on saline and is under constant vigilance. She is feeling a little better and I am hoping that we will be able to shoot the episode in due time."
Aman says that the production house has its compulsions. He said, "The show must go on, whatever the situation. But I must say that Surveen is co-operating with us despite her illness. She knows the gravity of the situation."
Surveen was not available for comment.
