Kaajal says that her entry into films was accidental. She never dreamt of acting in films. She is a trained journalist and was working with a cosmetics company before entering films.
A friend who shot her pictures passed them on and she was spotted by Baharathi Raja and offered a chance to work in ‘Cinema’. One thing led to another and she did ‘Lakshmi Kalyanam’ and now is acting in ‘Jagadam’. She is now bitten by the acting bug and says that she now wants to act in films in all Indian languages, not just Telugu
