Chiranjeevi said that his mother liked Dharmavaram saris very much. During his childhood, he always wanted to buy her a Dharmavaram sari but could not do so as he could not afford to by one.

Responding to his remark, a couple of Chiranjeevi fans presented him with a maroon coloured Dharmavaram silk sari. Chiranjeevi thanked the weavers for their wonderful gift.

Chiranjeevi later said that he will gift the Dharmavaram saris to his mother as soon as he reached Hyderabad.
