Chief minister YS Rajashekar Reddy was operated upon at a private eye hospital in Hyderabad today. YSR had undergone a eye surgery one year back and the present one is to treat the defect in one of his eyelids that closes inadvertently and has been bothering him for a considerable period.

The doctors have advised him two days rest and hence all is official engagements have been cancelled. YSR will be confined to his camp office at Begumpet for the next two days.
