Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan faced the camera for the first time today after recuperating from illness as he shot for an advertisement.
The shooting for for Dabur took place at a five-star hotel in Powai.
“It’s wonderful to be back in front of the camera, but quite honestly I was rather enjoying the rest days. Nothing to do, no schedules and timings to rush to, no compulsions…just lying back and taking my own time over it. Ah! well can’t have everything in life your way,” Bachchan wrote on his blog.
Bachchan fell ill on his 66th birthday last month and was hospitalised for treatment of obstruction of the intestine.
Apart from under production films “Shoebite” and “Alladin”, Bachchan’s other projects include Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films. Besides these, he is in discussions with PNC Films’ “The Actor” for the look, costume, dates and locations. The film will go on floors by January.
Ram Gopal Varma is also scheduled to narrate the final version of “Rann” and the film will hit the floors by January-February.
