The devastating affects of the US financial crunch that made the world scream for help, is now slowly and steadily making a dent on Indian Industry. The first affect of the crunch is revealed out from Jet Air Ways sacking its 1900 staff, which later withdrawn the decision by external pressures. But the impact is very severe on other industries.
Indian IT giants Satyam, Wipro, Infosys, and others slowed down their recruitment process and starts filtering the unnecessary man power from their various branches. The chain reaction goes on to Automotives, Hospitality, Real estate, and even road side pubs.
The prime minister of India Dr.Manmohan Singh who is known as a financial and economic technocrat, reviewing the critical situation has asked his office to send an appeal letters to all the corporate houses in India, to reconsider the decision of sacking the manpower in large scale.
It became necessary for him to make such an appeal to avoid any damage to the party as the elections fast approaching.
