The smoking is banned in public places; A.P.TB & Chest hospital has allotted separate space within the premises. After the introduction of Rajiv Arogyasri, though the hospital acquired more advanced equipment and facilities like Sleep Lab for treatment of sleep disorders and thoroscope recently, keeping in view the growing number of patients, the staff strength has remained the same. "There is not enough staff and time. More than for want of space, it is the shortage of personnel, which forced the hospital to shut down the clinic.
