In politics anything is possible. There won't be any permanent friends or foes. This theory was proved right many a times. It is worth mentioning here that Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu, once ditched his own father-in-law and planned a coup and grabbed the power from him. This made him turn a foe to the entire family.

NTR's wife Lakshmi Parvathi floated a party called NTR TDP on her own and Harikrishna also launched a party called Anna Telugu Desam. Not only that they criticised Chandrababu Naidu heavily. However, Harikrishna joined the Telugu Desam and Balakrishna also entered politics at the behest of Chandrababu Naidu, after his son married to Balakrishna's daughter.

Keeping all this aside, Nagarjuna , who categorically declared during the launch of Naga Chaitanya as hero, that politics would not suit him and his family. He gave same reply when Chiranjeevi announced his entry into politics with 'Praja Rajyam'. Surprisingly, Nagarjuna seen campaigning in favour of YS Rajasekhar Reddy and Congress government in television promos.

Meanwhile, the Telugu Desam organised a mammoth public meeting in Guntur involving Harikrishna, Balakrishna , Kalyanram along with N Chandrababu Naidu. However, Young Tiger NT Rama Rao was conspicuously absent at the meeting. Though the party claimed that NTR could not come as he was busy with his film shooting, it has become an open secret that NTR intentionally avoided attending the meeting.

The latest gossip that was doing rounds in the Film Nagar that the Congress is wooing NTR towards its fold. It may be mentioned here that Daggubati Venkateswara Rao had a soft corner towards NT Rama Rao, and it was he who looked after NTR , when his family was left by Harikrishna due to some reasons.

NTR has a lot of affection and faith on Daggubati family. It is learnt that strong discussions were going on to convince NTR either to join the Congress or keep himself off from politics to prevent the strengthening of the TD further.

The top leaders of the Congress are making efforts to make use of the soft corner NTR had towards Daggubati family and to certain extent they succeeded in their attempt by preventing him from attending the Yuva Garjana of the Telugu Desam at Guntur.

The issue of Jr. NTR moving closer to the congress party is gaining curecny and he is now the most talked about star in the party.
