Even though Aishwarya Rai is working in two Tamil films, the actress has been managing without any tutor of Tamil language.

Ash is not alien to Tamil. She made her acting debut in a Tamil film (Iruvar) and has worked in Tamil movies like ‘Jeans’ and ‘Kandukondain Kandukondain’. So the actress hardly had any apprehension when director Shankar approached her for his sci-fi thriller Robot .

Though it was reported that Ash was assigned a special tutor for brushing up her Tamil while shooting ‘Robot’ with Rajnikant in South America, the truth is there was no such tutor.

Ash says she has been working overtime to get her Tamil dialogues right in the film.

And she is doing the same for director Mani Ratnam ’s film which is being made in Tamil and Hindi.

Ash is presently in Kerala to shoot the movie along with hubby Abhishek Bachchan and Vikram . The Tamil version of the film won’t star Abhishek, but will only have Ash.
