The leaders of the TDP were angry with the dirty tricks played by the ruling congress government. The leaders alleged that the government deliberately allowed some big vehicles on the route leading to the rally. Many big trucks were also seen parked haphazardly on the road leading to the Garjana This was done to create a traffic jam and stop many people from making it to the rally.

The TDP leaders were also angry at the way power was cut in many villages while the TV channels were broadcasting the rally live. Power was restored only after the rally came to an end. As such, many people could not watch the show live.
