The turnout at the Yuva Garjana rally of the TDP was massive. An estimated 15 lakh people converged for the rally. The turnout sent the party men into a tizzy. Even Chandra Babu was very much impressed with the turnout at the rally. Babu said that it was the first time that so many people turned out for a rally conducted by the TDP in its 25 year history.
The ruling congress party was shocked with the huge response to the rally. Even the PRP leaders were surprised with the turnout. Many observers were seen comparing Chiranjeevi’s Tirupathi rally and Sonia Gandhi’s rally at Anantapur with today’s Yuva Garja. It is clear that the TDP has clearly beaten both the congress and the PRP as far as mobilizing the crowds is concerned.
