Mammootty's bilingual 'Vande Matharam' which is also made in Tamil titled 'Aruvadai' is now charted as a Pongal release. As per the new schedule ,the movie will now grace the theatres as an early release of 2009. The film starring Arjun and Sneha as a part of the cast has left out sequences which has to be canned before it is termed completed.

If 'Vande Matharam' which was earlier expected as a Christmas release gets shifted, then Mammootty will be in a difficult situation with three of his big releases coming out in the month of January.

Lastly etched plan is Mammooty's 'Love in Singapore ' will be released on January 23, while his historical magnum opus 'Pazhassi Raja' with director Hariharan may also grace the theatres on the same month.
