Fashion is certainly the flavour of the season and things just got “ramped” up further when Madhur Bandharkar’s Fashion hit screens a couple of days ago.

While the film has been in the news for various controversies, it also marks the debut of former model, Mugdha Godse, who is pretty thrilled to be a part of the project. We caught up with the svelte actress, who plays the part of a struggling model in the movie, at an event in Delhi recently. She was all smiles, saying,“It’s been fantastic. I never thought I’d be involved in such a great project.”

Since she’s been a model before she entered acting, did she find the film to be ‘true to life’? “I would say that it’s quite accurate, but I’d like to clarify that we aren’t targeting anyone specific through the film. It’s a portrayal of human struggle and relationships.” And is she happy with the kind of promotion she has got, since the controversies seem to have highlighted Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut’s roles more than hers.

“I’m perfectly satisfied,” she said,“In fact, I never expected that I’d get so much attention. The main thing for me, was making a film with Madhur. Everything I get from now on is just a Diwali bonus!”
