Veteran director G N Rangarajan directed films like 'Kalyana Raman', 'Meendum Kokila' and 'Magarasan' starring Kamal Haasan. Now his son forays to direction with a movie titled 'Ninaithale Inikkum', a movie inspired by the title of the yesteryear Kamal Haasan's hit.
Ninaithale Innikum' is a movie inspired by the recent Malayalam hit Classmates which went on to become a big hit. G N R Kumaravel had worked as an associate with Kamal Haasan, Balu mahendra and Seeman earlier. The movie speaks about life in a college campus. Prithviraj, Sakthi, Karthik and Priyamani plays prominent roles in this movie.

Vijay Anthony has scored the music while cinematography by Balasubramanian. Produced by Gemini Films, the movie features Bhagyaraj playing a cameo.
