At the audio launch of Ananda Thandavam (also referred to as Aananda Thaandavam) Tamannaah evinced confidence that after its release, she will become a prominent actress of Kollywood. There was a special glow on her face when she said this – a glow that indicated confidence and satisfaction of having done a great job.

Tamannaah was initially very shy to speak at the meeting, but later overcame her shyness and gave an eloquent speech about her ambition, how she landed this role, and how she is counting on it to become one of the most prominent actresses of Kollywood. Her shyness enhanced her beauty manifold! She reminisced how she rushed to Ananda Thandavam’s audition and how relieved and happy she was after getting the role it amidst tough competition.

When Gandhi Krishna spoke, he said that he was highly inspired by Sujatha’s Pirivom Santhippom (novel) when he read 20 years ago. He immediately had a desire to convert it into a film. The talented director also shared his grief of not being able to show his film to Sujatha, who passed away in February this year.

Gandhi Krishna has made some small changes to the script to make it suitable for this generation. He also said that this film will definitely appeal to everyone and will definitely go on to become a super hit. He appreciated Tamannaah for her beautiful performance and Siddharth for his good show despite being a newcomer. He also thanked Aascar Films for allocating a heavy budget and agreeing to shoot in New York for 30 days. He appreciated G.V. Prakash for his excellent musical score in the film.
