Balaji Motion Pictures and Popcorn Motion Pictures’ EMI, which was slated for a Diwali release on October 29, has been postponed to November 7. Because only around 40 per cent of the sound mixing of the film has been completed in Anand Studios, the makers of the movie, Popcorn Entertainment and Balaji Motion Pictures feel that it will be difficult to wrap up the remaining work and also complete the Censorship procedures before November 7.

Director Saurabh Kabra, however, did not feel deterred by the developments. The confident debut director said, “Regardless of the time when the film releases, its appeal will help it garner attention. It is not like people’s sentiments will change a week after Diwali”.
