Rao Ramesh is the son of the late Rao Gopalrao. He is now acting in films. Rao Ramesh played a ex-naxalite in the film Gamyam In Kotha Bangaru Kokam, Rao Ramesh played the role of a physics lecturer.

He plays the role of a person who is very practical in his approach and he endears himself to the students. His role is also very crucial in the film and he also reminds the audience of one of their favourite lecturers.
