.The audio launch of Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu took place on October 1st in Chennai. The chief guest at the function was the president of the Tamil Film Producer's Council Mr. Rama Narayanan. The audio was released by Gautham Menon, Vikram and A.R. Rahman and was received by the fathers of all the technicians associated with the film collectively.
Speaking at the function director Gautham Menon said that a producer's job is the most difficult one as it does not only require money but the intention to create films. The director of the film, Suseendran, said that Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu is based on the real life incidents that happened in the Vennila Kabbadi team, a national level kabaddi team. Interestingly, the director's father was the coach of this team about 20 years ago.
Noted personalities that participated in the event were A.R. Rahman, Kalaipuli S Dhanu, director Ezhil, the film's hero Vishnu among others. Over 500 kabbadi players also attended the function.
