The prestigious bilingual project Mallanna (Kandasamy in Tamil) starring vikram and Shreya in the lead is being delayed for one reason or the other. The producer of the film Kalaipuli Thanu is spending money like water but still work is going on at a extremely slow pace. The producer hopes to release the film at least for this coming Deepavali Susi Ganesan is the director of this big budget film.
The first problem arose after the sudden death of Raghuvaran. Now Shreya is not cooperating with the producer and director. She needs to attend shooting for another three to four days but has stopped reporting for work. Vikram and the director are trying to cajole her to finish her pending work.
