The actor has reportedly agreed to do a Telugu film opposite Balakrishna
If sources close to the actor are to be believed, Priyanka Chopra is going to do a Telugu film next year that will have Balakrishna playing the hero.
The yet untitled film will be produced by Nandamuri Kalyanram who owns the banner NTR Arts. If this information turns out to be true, Priyanka will share screen space with another heroine Trisha Composer Manisharma has been selected to score music for the movie. The source says, “ Priyanka has been approached by the Telugu filmmaker to act in his film. Apparently Priyanka has liked the script too. The film has another actress Trisha in it.”
However, the director of the film hasn’t been decided yet. Our insider adds, “The film will have a romantic theme with a twist. Though it is going to be a big project, the filmmakers are currently concentrating on selecting the cast. The director has not yet been decided.” Priyanka last did a South Indian film in 2002. It was her debut film titled Thamizan that had Vijay, Naseer and Revathy. She essayed the role of Priya in the movie.
Since Priyanka was busy shooting, her media manager said that many filmmakers approach Priyanka for films everyday and as of today she did not anything about the Telugu film.
