Konkona Sen Sharma has been roped in by Madhur Bhandarkar for a cameo as both his earlier movies with the actor were critically acclaimed
If Kajol is Karan Johar’s lucky mascot for his films, then Konkona Sen Sharma is certainly the midas touch for Madhur Bhandarkar. Konkona has been roped in by the three-time national award winning director to make a guest appearance in his forthcoming film Fashion.
A source close to the film says: “It is a small appearance but a meaningful one. Madhur is very fond of Konkona. He adores her because of the performances she has delivered in Page 3 and Traffic Signal and so he always wanted to have her in the film.”
The insider adds: “Shooting with Konkona is left. In fact it might be the only portion left for the movie. She is shooting with Madhur in some days in Bombay only.”
When contacted Madhur confirmed that Konkona has a guest appearance in the movie but did not divulge too much.
Plot peek
Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut play supermodels in the film. Their characters have been inspired from real life models and their lifestyles.
Apparently Priyanka has done some steamy scenes in the film after she was convinced by Madhur that the scenes were necessary for the script.
