The huge public rally of megastar Chiranjeevi on August 26 at Tirupathi has set a new record. The rally attracted people in large numbers. While the organizers claim that more than 12 lakh people attended the rally, the intelligence and police officials put the figure at around 6 to 8 lakhs.
Analysts say that this is a record not just in the state but even in the entire country. No other politician in India has managed to attract such a big crowd anywhere in the country. So Chiranjeevi’s rally may well go down in history as the biggest rally ever to be held so far in India.
