Kamal's period project Marmayogi will feature Padmapriya in the lead, according to the latest industry grapevine. Unconfirmed news sources aver that Kamal has zeroed in on Padmapriya after her impressive performance in offbeat movies in both Tamil as well as Malayalam. It is also speculated that 10 months of Padma's dates have been asked for Marmayogi.

Padmapriya is currently shooting the Cheran starrer Pokkisham and is likely to be available for Marmayogi shoots after that. Marmayogi's script and casting are being finalized and an official announcement regarding Padmapriya's inclusion is expected anytime soon.
