Megastar Chiranjeevi arrived in Varanasi this morning. He was here to immerse the ashes of his late father K Venkat Rao in the sacred river Ganga Chiranjeevi performed the rites as per tradition. He later left for Hyderabad.

It may be recalled here that Chiranjeevi’s film Indra was shot for a major part in Varanasi and it went on to become blockbuster hit. Chiranjeevi is now expected to announce the launch of his political party soon.

So many observer see Chiranjeevi’ praying at the world famous Kasi Vishwanath temple a precursor to his entry into politics.
