Director Vishnuvardhan’s younger brother Krishna , the tall and well-built guy, will be making his debut as hero in Talking Times Private Ltd.’s ‘Alibaba’. The film is produced jointly by ‘Pattiyal’ Sekar (Krishna’s father) and Sanjeev Kapoor.
The film will be directed by Neelan K. Sekar, who will also be making his directorial debut with this film. Sekar also writes the story, screenplay and dialogues. Sekar was an assistant director under Vishnuvardhan. Krishna had acted as a child artiste in Manir- atnam’s ‘Anjali’ and ‘Iruvar’ along with his elder sibling Vishnuvardhan. In ‘Alibaba’, Krishna’s pair will be the young Patiala model Janani, a Mumbai import.
Other actors in the film include Prakashraj, Azhagamperumal, Thilakan, Radharavi, Biju Menon, ‘Lollu Sabha’ Jeeva, Kishore Kumar and Manobala.
Krishna, reportedly a fitness freak, has performed all his stunts on his own without making use of a dummy or a ‘duplicate’. Director Sekar says that the film would be loved by one and all and won’t bore the viewers with ‘social’ messages.
