Charmy made her debut in Tollywood with a dubbed Tamil film 'Kurradocchadu'. The film bombed at the box office. She later acted in a couple of Tamil films but they too bombed. Her next film in Telugu, 'Neeke Manasicchanu' also failed miserably.
But fortunately for her, director Krishna Vamsi gave her a chance in 'Sri Anjneyam' and it changed her fate. Chanti, Gouri and Mass happened in quick succession. Anukokunda Oka Roju and Mantra were big hits and she is now an established actress. She also acted in successful films like Lakshmi, Rakhi and style. Charmy has now bagged a role in a new film to be produced by Bhumika Chawla.
