The film Nagaram features a hot and sexy item song with Manisha Koirala. The song has been much touted by the producer a director as one of the highlights of the film. But here is no such thing in the song at all.
An items song in the conventional sense means that the item girl would sport some hot and revealing costumes. But Manisha Koirala is shown covered from head to toe. Yes, she sports a long leather jacket and leather pants with long bots. Even her head is covered with a hat. She changes into a couple of costumes in the song but they too are full length costumes. She is covered completely during the picturisation of the entre song.
Manisha is now quite old. She ahs also lost her charm and looks. So it is a surprise that she as been chosen to play an item song in the film. The only saving grace in the item song if any in that the other group dancers in the song are all clad is small and revealing outfits. May be, to remind us that it was indeed an item song!
