Young Tiger NT Rama Rao's latest flick Kantri is presently on sets and is fast nearing completion. The film is being directed by Meher Ramesh, a protégé of Puri Jagannath and produced by C Aswinidutt on the banner of Vyjanthi Movies, with Hansika and Tanisha playing the female leads. Canning of a song and shooting of climax remained pending for the movie. The film unit had recently returned from South Africa after canning of two songs and important scenes were also shot in Ramoji Film City. Producer Aswinidutt says, 'The film is being made with heavy budget.
The performance and acting style of NTR would attract all classes of audiences. Manisharma scored music for our film and NTR rendered a song 'One… Two… Three…' in the film. We are making efforts to launch the audio on March 15. We are making efforts to release the film as summer gift.' Sources in Film Nagar say that South Indian Super Star Rajanikanth is likely to be the chief guest of the function.
It is worth mentioning here that Aswinidutt is the producer of the Telugu version of 'Kuchelan' (Kucheludu) which is being simultaneously produced in Tamil and Telugu under the direction of P Vasu and Rajanikanth is the hero in the film. Prakash Raj, Asish Vidyarthi, Sayaji Shinde, Subbaraju, Ali, Krishna Bhagawan, Mukhesh Rushi, Hema and others are in the cast. Camera is by Sameer Reddy, action is by Stun Siva, while editing is by Marthand K Venkatesh
