IT'S now time for Malayalam girls in Telugu cinema. Earlier, Mumbai girls dominated Telugu films and now filmmakers are choosing their female leads from the South only.

After Nayantara , Trisha , Jyothika , Gopika and Sneha , another Malayalam girl Bhavana is testing her waters. She has played the female lead in 'Ontari' opposite the tall actor Gopichand

Produced by Pokuri Babu Rao and directed by BV Rama, this flick is all set to hit the marquee on February 14. Bhavana said she would like to now concentrate more on Telugu films and simultaneously sign Malayalam films too.

In Ontari, her performance is reported to be impressive and she is being hailed as the next Soundarya of Tollywood. She expressed happiness on receiving such praise in the beginning of her foray in Telugu films. Apart from 'Ontari', Bhavana's Tamil film 'Arya' with Madhavan is too getting released in Telugu as Arya MBBS
