A new girl will be the love interest of singer-composer-actor Himesh Reshammiya in the T-Series film Karzzzz .
The movie, a modern remake of Subhash Ghai’s 1980 hit ‘Karz’, will be directed by Satish Kaushik and will star Himesh in the leading role of a re-incarnated singer, played by Rishi Kapoor in the original film.
Producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and director Kaushik had already made it clear that Himesh will be paired with a newcomer in the film. Names of several Bollywood aspirants were zeroed on for the role.
Now, reports have it that a newcomer named Shweta has been finalized. She will enact the role played by Tina Munim in the original film.
Shweta is the daughter of producer-director Indra Kumar who has made hit films like ‘Dil’, ‘Beta’, Masti and Dhamaal . She has a gorgeous face and hazel eyes.
‘Karzzzz’ also stars Urmila Matondkar , Danny Denzongpa and Gulshan Grover .
The film’s shooting is set to begin from January 25. The foreign locations finalized for the shooting include South Africa and Kenya.
Himesh himself will compose the film’s songs and sing them as well. He will also be seen without his trademark cap in this flick.
