Navya Nair did not have any good releases last year. Though she shared screen space with Malayalam superstar Mohanlal in Alibhai and was paired with Suresh Gopi in Kichamani MBA, both films bombed.

The actress has now been signed for a new film, Kavyam, starring Suresh Gopi in the lead and directed by newcomers Anish and Santosh. Navya , who has been doing films both in Tamil and Malayalam, will also appear shortly in an English movie to be directed by Madhumita

Reportedly, the actress is also concentrating on her studies, pursuing her MBA.
