The news of the death of Chiranjeevi’s father came as a shock to many. Many actors and technicians stopped shooting work and made a beeline to Chiranjeevi’s residence to offer their condolences. The first among them were Ashwini Dutt, Balakrishna , Krishnam Raju , Kaikala Sathyanarayana, Venkatesh , Brahmanandam, TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu and Eenadu chief Ramoji Rao. Chief minister Y S Rajashekar Reddy offered his condolences to Chiranjeevi over phone.
