Shooting of 'Dr Paramanandaiah's Students Gang' (Thokalokkate Takkuava!) directed by Ravipalli Rambabu and produced by G Srinivasa Reddy on the banner of Sri Venkateswara Film Empires with Gauthamraju, Harnath Policharla as heroes and Mayuri (Asha Saini) as heroine, with the title role being played by Tanikella Bharani , was launched at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on December 20. Thespian Akkineni Nageswara Rao gave the clap, while P Chandrasekhar Reddy switched on the camera for the muhurat shot. The story goes like this. 'It is a distance education college. To join the college there is no age limit.

Even the degrees would be sold openly and the students in it are like monkeys without tails. What kind of problems the principal of the college Dr Paramanandaiah faced with such students is the basic subject of the movie. A total of 101 comedians of the Telugu film industry are playing roles in the movie. Audiences should not mistake that our film would have similarities of the earlier classic 'Paramanandaiah Sishyula Katha'. This is entirely different subject. We will start the regular shooting of the movie from January 22 and complete the film by March.' Tanikella Bharani says, 'The problems faced by me with the students would definitely provide a healthy comedy to the audiences.'

Gauthamraju says, 'My character name is ANR , means Amalapuram Nuka Raju and my education qualification is MABF (Matriculation Appeared But Failed).' Haranath Policherla says, 'My role is NTR , means Nimmagadda Timma Rao, and my education qualification is IJBD (Intermediate Joined But Discontinued). I come all the way from the US to join the distance college. What was the reason behind it had to be seen on the screen.' Bhanupriya, Brahmanandam, Krishna Bhagawan, Venumadhav, Sunil and others are in the cast. Camera is by N Sudhakar Reddy, while, story, screenplay, dialogues and direction are by Ravipalli Rambabu.
