The most recent change in Rozza's life (her break-up with Saif) has only strengthened her relationship with her few and well chosen friends, Zayed Khan and his wife Malaika.
Rozza's association with Zayed and his wife can be traced back to the Temptation 2004 world tour, where her former boyfriend Saif Ali Khan toured across a few cities along with Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta
"Zayed and Malaika are the first people that I became friends with during that tour. They are very nice people," says Rozza.
And now, Zayed is helping the Italian-model-turned-television-presenter grab a few filmi projects.
The script of a Hindi commercial film and modeling offers did crop up, but Rozza has already turned down the offers. She says that she is not well-equipped to take on the assignments.
Presently, she is taking lessons in Hindi and also working out. Rozza says, "I haven't asked anyone for any kind of help as far as work goes. Yes, I did get this film offer but turned it down as I'm not comfortable with a Hindi film right now. I'm in the process of mastering the language."
But, she doesn't shy away from the fact that Zayed has been a great support all this while.
After having met with all the bigwigs in the industry, courtesy Saif, she can hardly count on anyone (except for Zayed, of course).
She says, "I really like Zayed. We have known each other for over two years now. His wife Malaika is extremely sweet. We hang out together whenever we can. I know his family too."
As for immediate plans, she aspires to join the cast of Mira Nair's big budget film, Shantaram (which is based Gregory David Robert's novel by the same name).
"I have read the book. Even if I get to do a cameo in it, I will be more than happy."
