Chennai 28 proved to be an unprecedented hit and this naturally took all those associated with the film to stardom. The already well-established music director Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music went on to become a chartbuster.
Provoked by the Chennai 28’s success, director Venkat Prabhu, started off a new project, Saroja , comprising most of the members associated with his previous film. Sadly, this project is now facing small financial crunches but still managing to cruise along (though on rough seas).
In spite of all the adversities that face Saroja , it does seem like Venkat is adamant on bringing Yuvan Shankar Raja before the camera. He has also conveyed this to Yuvan and he is said to have given his stamp of approval. Is this is an indication that this music director could be aspiring to become a lead actor?
