The latest flick from director cum producer cum actor R Narayanamurthy 'Yerra Samudram', produced on the banner of Sneha Chitra, is all set for release on May 1. Talking to the media, he says, 'In my 24 years of film career, I had brought out 20 films. I had a strong wish to release my film on May Day, but could not due to some technical reasons or due to some other problems from the censor board. However, I am able to release the film on May Day to fulfill my dream.
This film highlights the need to safeguard the rights enunciated in the Indian constitution. We tried to explain that the government has no right to privatize the basic needs of the society. The lyrics scripted by the people's writers would remain an asset for the flick. I preferred to introduce the stage artistes who had good experience on the screen. All of them did complete justice to their roles.' Camera is by M Prasad, music is by Vandemataram Srinivas, dialogues are by KB Anand, lyrics are by Mukkamala Nagabhushanam, Vangapandu Prasada Rao, Ashok Teja Gorati Venkanna and Andesri, while story, screenplay and direction are by R Narayana Murthy.
