The biggest gainer form this year's union budget is undoubtedly the Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Rajashekar Reddy. The announcement of waiver of loans to farmers is the best that YS could have asked for. No wonder he has termed it as the 'Best Budget since Independence!'

The move is expected to benefit lakhs of farmers cross the state. This also comes as a big boost to YSR's attempt to project himself as a farmer friendly chief minister. The congress party can now be expected to go to town with the waiver of loan issue and gain as much mileage as possible.

The congress party leaders feel that this single issue is sufficient to make a big impact during the next assembly elections.
