Chief minister YS Rajashekar Reddy showed great speed and political acumen when he appointed the former TDP leader and Chittooor MP DK Adikesavulu Naidu as the new chairman of the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam.

Adikesavulu after being suspended from the TDP was actually looking towards the proposed political party of Chiranjeevi He even made his intentions public by saying that he was considering joining the Chiranjeevi bandwagon. But YSR moved with lightning speed and won over Adikesavulu to the congress camp by offering him the TTD post.

The incident has only exposed the inexperience of the Chiranjeevi camp in taking quick decisions and handling senior political leaders with the respect they deserve.
