Chief minister Y S Rajashekar Reddy has not taken the TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao's threat seriously. YSR said that it has become a habit for KCR to come up with one deadline after another. The congress party will not be cowed down with such threats. The congress will make its stand on separate Telangana clear at the appropriate time.

Even the congress party in charge for Andhra Pradesh, Veerappa Moily has taken the threat lightly. He said that the TRS party was well known for its blackmailing tactics. He even went to the extent of alleging that the TRS was born only for blackmailing other political parties.
