Chief minister Y S Rajashekar Reddy’s house at Pulivendula will be demolished as part of the road widening work. The authorities planned to acquire nearly six feet of the premises for road widening. But the CM decided to demolish the house completely.

The entire road is being widened as part of the master plan. Many roads are being widened to ease congestion and ensure smooth flow of traffic. The authorities are also reported to have drawn up a plan for laying an outer ring road too.
