It is now Kadapa that is getting all the big projects and schemes. It is after all the home district of chief minister YS Rajashekar Reddy. The centre proposed to set up a world class university in the state and zeroed in on the port city of Visakhapatnam. But chief minister YS Rajashekar Reddy has decided to bring it to Kadapa. The excuse given by the government officials is that the required 700 acres of land is hard to get in Visakhapatnam and hence the university should be set up at Kadapa. The government has now gone ahead and accorded permission for the setting up of another airport. And the beneficiary is none other than Gali Janardhan Reddy of the controversial Obulapuram mining corporation. The government has already given him about 17,000 acres for mining. Not the government is about to hand him another 3,500 acres in the name of the airport. The airport will be a modern one with facilities like night landing. The airport will come up near Muddunur near Kadapa. But the state government plans to build another airport in Kadapa. The land for the new airport is being acquired by the government at a breakneck speed. The government plans to acquire bout 3,200 acres of land in Ambavaram near Jammalamadugu in Kadapa. "The story looks at the acceptance of cultures in the western world. If we choose Coventry, half of the film will be set here. The turnout for the condolence meeting is huge. People have not only come from the towns and villages in Kadapa but also from as far as Bengaluru. Speaker after more BA-Music-from-Telugu-University  The Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University will soon start new courses. The University has decided to introduce a five-year integrated Literature course and BA Music course and a multimedia course. The BA Music course would be offered as a distance learning course and would commence from the next academic year. Noted writer Kalipatnam Ramarao is being conferred with an honorary doctorate by the Telugu University this year. &nb more YS-Vivekananda-held,-sent-to-Kadapa  YS Vivekananda Reddy brother of late YS Rajashekar Reddy was arrested and sent to Kadapa. Vivekananda was on a fast-unto-death for Samaikhya Andhra. He was fasting near the statue of Potti Sreeramulu in Hyderabad. The police arrested him and first took him to the Goshamahal stadium. He was later taken to Kadapa. Vivekananda said that he will continue with his fast wherever he was shifted. more French-Aviation-University-in-State  The state government is in talks with Edufrance, a government educational institution in France for the setting up of a University in rte state. The officials of Edufrance are keen to set up the university as part of their efforts to spread education across the globe.
