Rocky once more. You’ve marveled at Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky series. The buzz is that he is planning ‘Rocky VI’ sometime soon. Never mind Hollywood, apna Bollywood has had its share of Sanju Baba’s debut style flick ‘Rocky’ as well. Now, stylish Zayed Khan is trying to go on that trip too with his solo-after-a-long-gap movie titled ‘Rocky’.
Co-starring angelic Minisha Lamba (She met with a raw deal in ‘Corporate’), Rocky’s music by Himesh Reshammiya is creating waves. ‘Junoon’ and ‘It’s Not a One Night Stand’ have been picturised well and are earning quite-a-few eye balls on telly-world these days.But if you compare Himesh’s score with RD Burman’s classic ‘Aa Dekhen Zara Kisme Kitna Hai Dum’ then it completely pales in comparison.
Talking about Zayed, well this good looking Khan hasn’t had a solo hit so far. Whatever little success or critical acclaim that he has earned are multi starrers like ‘Main Hoon Na’ (Shahrukh), ‘Dus’ (Sanjay, Abhishek and Sunil), ‘Shabd’ (Sanjay Dutt) and ‘Shaadi No.1’ (Fardeen and Sharman).
It is a test for him whether the public will accept his single-handed effort or do they prefer his multi-starrers. The soft drink commercial that he features in has enhanced his ‘Cool-Quotient’. And marriage with Malaika makes him look blissful-n-at-ease. We shall find out soon enough where his career is heading for with ‘Rocky’. ‘Junoon….Junoon….Junoon’
