Will ace director Selvaraghavan, make up his mind whether his next project is in Kollywood or Bollywood? After the success of his Telugu film AMAV, starring Venkatesh and Trisha , the director is in two minds whether to start his Tamil or Hindi film first.
Almost a year back, Selva had picked up Karthi to be his hero along with Sandhya in Ithu Malai Nerathu Mayakam(IMNM). At the same time he was looking for a hero in Bollywood to start his Hindi venture, a remake of his own 7G, Rainbow Colony. And after AMAV, became a hit, Selva became obsessed with the Hindi venture which would be far more lucrative and give him a national image.
So it was natural for Selva to give a backseat to ‘IMNM’, as Karthi panicked! The Hindi remake was being given preference as Selva approached some leading young hero's in Bollywood. He also asked his AMAV heroine Trisha to give bulk dates, as he was planning to introduce her to Bollywood, in the role done by his wife Sonia in Tamil!
Last week Selva told everybody that he is going on a belated honeymoon to Maldives, but is said to have landed up in Mumbai trying to catch a young hero to do his Hindi film! The film is a joint venture, between leading production house UTV and our own Radhika Sarathkumar’s `Radaan Media Works`.
Now the grapevine is abuzz that `IMNM` may be either put on the backburner or he will do both the films simultaneously, something which he has not done in the past! And when Moviebuzz contacted, no one was available to clarify.
