Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is non-committal on whether he would invite the Gandhis for the wedding of his son Abhishek Bachchan with the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai .

"We have not yet decided what kind of a marriage it is going to be. Once we decide, we will work on invitations," he told NDTV on Friday when asked whether old relationships would be revived during the marriage time.

Bachchan, who was brought into the Parliament by Rajiv Gandhi, but is said to be not on good terms with Sonia Gandhi, was very effusive about his relationship with Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh, describing him as an excellent human being and a wonderful companion.

"He is somebody who has sacrificed relationship and not one who has tried to take something out it. He is very giving. It's a different matter he is in politics. Our friendship is beyond that."

Asked about the criticism because of his proximity to Amar Singh, the superstar said "I would feel privileged to be denigrated because of him."

To another question on his sharing platform with politician--Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh, he replied that he had shared platform with some other Chief Ministers and Ministers of Maharashtra.

Asked whether Ash would stop acting like Jaya Bachchan did after her marriage, he said it was his wife's decision and similarly it was for Abhishek and Ash to discuss and decide.

To a question about the frequent visits by him and his family members to temples of late, Bachchan said "There is no nothing sudden about. Only the media has shown sudden interest."

Asked whether the visits had anything to do with reports that Ash is a "manglik" (said to be inauspicious), he initially said "let's not talk about it (visits)" but later added "it is speculation".

When asked about who would decide on the details and formalities connected with the marriage, Bachchan said "You are asking me questions, which can do harm to domestic harmony. We have not decided on the modalities. It is for the ladies to decide, we will succumb to that (decision)."
