The suspense over whether Amitabh Bachan will invite the Congress President Sonia Gandhi for the wedding of his son Abhisekh with Aishwarya Rai continues. It needs no mention that the first lady of politics and the legend of Bollywood are not in talking terms.
Their relationship has soured over the years with Amitabh getting closer to Mulayam. And everyone knows that Sonia cannot stand Mulayam. Jaya Bachan is also an elected member of the Rajya Sabha backed by Samajwadi Party.
Amitabh and Rajiv Gandhi were best friend at one time. Now it remains to be seen if Amitabh forgets the past and invites Sonia Gandhi for the wedding. And whether Sonia will accept the invitation and attend the wedding, which is being hyped as the wedding of the year.
